You Are Not Your Past

If you are a Christian, you are not your past. God has made you “anew.” He has re-made you through baptism. He didn’t remake you on the outside, He re-made you on the inside. You are now a child of God.

You are NOT your past. You are not what you did. You are not who others say you are. You are not even who YOU say you are. You are who God says you are.

We all have stories we tell ourselves - stories of who we are - what we ought to do - our worth. And if we’re not careful, we’ll allow them to determine our path in life and our eternal destiny. Let God set your story straight.
